NewsNotes

NewsNotes, a 24-page newsletter, is produced every other month. NewsNotes presents information and analysis about situations in countries where Maryknollers work, and about global trends, U.S. policies and multilateral policies that impact these countries. Articles and reports in NewsNotes are concise and readable, and most articles provide directions to help readers obtain more information about the articles presented. Also includes names and addresses of policymakers, and resource page (videos, books, study guides, etc). Articles often include “action” components. Available for $20/year, $25 outside the U.S. Free to Maryknoll missioners.

If you would like to receive NewsNotes as a PDF file, please send your email address along with your subscription payment to MOGC, P.O. Box 29132, Washington, D.C., 20017

Originally published by the Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers’ Justice and Peace Office, NewsNotes has been published continually on a bimonthly basis since 1976. NewsNotes is for educators, pastoral ministers, social justice coordinators, local justice activists and organizers, and anyone who wants to learn about events and situations not covered in the regular news media. Readers are kept informed about how U.S. government, military and corporate policies are impacting people around the globe; and learn how to respond effectively to the challenge of building a more just and peaceful world.
