Marie Dennis is the director of the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns. She is a laywoman and mother of six adult children, and has worked for Maryknoll since 1989. Her areas of focus in the office are Africa and the global economy, particularly debt. She has written a number of books, including St. Francis and the Foolishness of God and Oscar Romero: Reflections on His Life and Writings. She is the co-president of Pax Christi International and serves as an Ambassador of Peace for Pax Christi USA. Marie is a member of the Assisi Community in Washington, D.C. and is a contributing editor for Sojourners magazine
Ann Braudis is associate for the integrity of creation and works at the New York office as Maryknoll NGO representative at the United Nations (where the Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers and the Maryknoll Sisters have NGO status). From 1990 until 2007, Ann served in the Philippines as director of the Maryknoll Ecological Sanctuary in Baguio, and as professor at the Asian Social Institute in Manila, where she earned a doctoral degree in applied cosmic anthropology. She is a native of Quincy, MA and, before joining the Maryknoll Sisters, served in Bolivia, South America for 15 years. Her interests follow the A’s – art, architecture and anthropology. Other than that, she has a passion for Tai Chi and the Dances of Universal Peace.

Judy Coode, communications manager, has worked with the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns since 1995. She currently serves as chair of the national council of Pax Christi USA, and also serves on the Global Solidarity Committee for the Archdiocese of Washington. A contributing writer to Sojourners magazine, she lives in the Columbia Heights neighborhood in Washington, D.C.

Yamileth Coreas is the administrative assistant and web designer for the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns. She helps maintain the website of EPICA (the Ecumenical Program in Central America and the Caribbean), the SHARE Foundation, and the U.S. Interfaith Trade Justice Campaign.

Sr. Rose Bernadette (Meg) Gallagher, MM has served abroad in China, Hong Kong, Thailand and most recently in Sudan. While abroad, she directed activities related to women’s empowerment, leadership training, youth formation, and safe shelter for troubled girls. She joined the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns’ staff in October 2006, with a focus on women and children’s issues. She is one of several Maryknoll representatives at the United Nations (where the Maryknoll Fathers & Brothers and the Maryknoll Sisters have NGO status), and serves on committees with UNICEF, UNIFEM, and networks with many other groups promoting peace, justice, and equal opportunities for all.

David Kane, associate for Latin America, served for nine and a half years as a Maryknoll lay missioner in Joao Pessoa, Brazil where he worked with recyclers in city dumps helping them to form workers' associations and cooperatives. He also worked with the Jubilee Brazil campaign, a coalition of numerous social organizations that mobilizes Brazilian society around the issues of debt, free trade and militarization through popular education campaigns and citizens' referendums. In addition to Latin America, Dave’s work in the Maryknoll Office for Global Concerns focuses on trade and economic issues. He and his wife Luciana are members of the Assisi Community in Washington, D.C.

Rev. James Kofski, MM, associate for Asia/Pacific and Middle East issues, has served in Cairo, Jerusalem and Bangkok since his ordination in 1991. The Minneapolis native earlier taught in the Peace Corps and took up graduate studies in the Philippines, where he lived for five years. Prior to entering Maryknoll he was a news reporter and editor for 10 years with The Associated Press. An amateur violinist, Jim relaxes by playing in string quartets and community orchestras.
Susan Weissert, a Maryknoll lay missioner, is the coordinator of the Maryknoll AIDS Task Force, involving community outreach and education with a focus on advocacy on global AIDS. She worked in adult education prior to moving to Chile in 1980. She served as a lay missioner in Peru, where her work included health education, youth work and the development of culture and language appropriate learning materials. Since returning New York, she served on the lay mission service team, and completed a MA in Social Policy in 1997. She’s married and the mother of an adult daughter.
