Candidates for president in 2008

Maryknoll does not endorse anyone for political office. We encourage all voters, however, to review carefully the candidates’ positions, to consider the teachings of the Church and the analysis of trusted sources, and to use their consciences as a guide when making voting decisions.

Listed below are the first and second-tier candidates of the two major political parties in the U.S.

Democratic candidates for President

Sen. Hillary Clinton

Former Sen. Mike Gravel

Sen. Barack Obama

Republican candidate for President

Sen. John McCain

Go to the Green Party's website for more information about the candidates for its party’s nomination.
